A protest servant (shine shoes) and a drug dealer run from the drug dealer’s drug dealer because Seth’s character drops some Pineapple Express after witnessing a serious felony.
Most of my favorite lines aren’t very noticeable the first time around, but I’ve seen the movie a hundred times and the subtle ones kill me. “Watch yo’ head.”
I’ve gotta admit that the first time around, I wasn’t a fan. Maybe it was just my mood, but after another watch…I was hooked. It features quite a few funny people from Ken Jeong, to the very talented Craig Robinson and even Bobby Lee. Bobby Lee doesn’t have a huge part, but he’s one of my favorite comics.
Danny McBride as ‘Red’ in Pineapple Express is comedy gold, I don’t care what anybody says. He’s easy to dislike, but in a funny way. He makes a great villain, if you can call him that. I don’t really know what to call him. So you’ll just have to watch it.
The love interest in the movie is Amber Heard, gorgeous yes…but she doesn’t need to be saved at the end of the movie like you might expect. Instead you’re gonna get some guns, explosions, a hit ‘n’ run and a bro down.
As usual don’t be too hard on the movie…and just let yourself enjoy the show.
